What is the Peace of Mind Screen?
Our Peace of Mind Screen is ideal for anyone who wants to test for these common infections from 14 days after any incident they are concerned about.
Which infections are tested for?
The Peace of Mind Screen tests for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Syphilis
You can add on other STIs to this screen if you would like. We have a lower price for tests which are added on to screens. You can choose your tests online or ask the booking team.
What samples are required?
Blood and urine samples are needed for this screen. No uncomfortale swabs need to be taken, and there are no fasting requirements for this test. Please make sure you are able to produce a urine sample at your appointment.
How will I receive my results?
We will call you when all your results are ready. If you would like us to contact you in a different way, or you would like to call us, please let us know when you make your booking.
What if I test positive for an STI?
All the STIs in the Peace of Mind screen are curable with the right treatment. Your Better2Know doctor will discuss what you would like to do next when you get your results. We can help you to get a private prescription for the medication you need, or you can take your results to your own doctor if you prefer.
